The sales team from Lotto 1st Place has achieved an remarkable turnaround after facing a major crisis. In the sixth episode aired on September 29, a colossal blunder by team member Park Ki-tae (played by Hong Jin-ki) mistakenly recorded an additional order of 30 billion won instead of 3 billion won, creating a significant challenge for the team.

In response to Park's disappearance, the sales team, led by Gong Eun-tae (played by Lee Jun-hyuk), quickly sprang into action. After reporting to his superior, Deputy General Manager Jang Kyung-cheol (played by Lee Hyun-kyun), Eun-tae managed to obtain three days for the team to devise a solution. Team member Yang Jun-ho cleverly rebranded the oversight as an "intentional additional order" and renegotiated with the supplier, Lacness. By exploiting weaknesses in their negotiation stance, he managed to reduce the order amount by 15 billion won, even securing shopping bags at a cost savings of approximately 10 million won.

Meanwhile, Park Ki-tae, struggling to tackle the issue alone, received support from fellow team members Jang Hyang-eun (played by Baek Ye-in) and Lee Ji-hye (played by Ha Yul-ri). Concerned for their teammate, Hyang-eun delivered a reassuring message from Eun-tae, reminding him that accidents happen and not everyone can avoid mishaps at work, strengthening the bond within the team.

The highlight of the episode featured Eun-tae’s unexpected marketing strategy. He approached brand model Yoo Ji-hyun (played by Uee), who was dealing with personal issues due to a divorce. Instead of terminating their contract, he proposed a new agreement that included mutual obligations, showcasing his considerate nature. Touched by his gesture, Ji-hyun playfully asked if he would like to be her manager, but Eun-tae replied humorously, "I’m sorry, but I have enough money myself."

Following Eun-tae's request, Ji-hyun wore Lacness shoes to her highly publicized divorce court appearance, which quickly went viral across social media and news platforms. This bold move by the sales team resulted in a staggering 1420% increase in sales compared to the previous month.

As the episode concluded, Eun-tae was summoned by the executive director and appointed to audit duties within the second sales division. The resulting collaboration with Hyang-eun, known as a whistleblower from their Chinese branch, hints at new challenges ahead, further heightened interest in the team's evolving story.

Despite being just three weeks into its release, Lotto 1st Place continues to gain momentum, ranking first in weekend subscription contributions on TVING for two consecutive weeks and reaching a comprehensive second place in weekly contributions for three weeks straight.
