NCT 127 Will Perform Live on America's Got Talent Ahead of Their 7th Album Drop

NCT 127 is heading to one of American television's biggest stages: the group will appear as special guests on NBC's America's Got Talent on August 19, performing live at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Califonia. The show broke the news through its official social media accounts, and fan timelines lit up almost immediately.

The timing is very deliberate. Their seventh studio album, BLINGY, drops on August 24, making the AGT performance a five-days-out live preview for American audiences who may be catching NCT 127 for the first time. The album carries nine tracks, including the title song of the same name, and represents the group's first full-length release in this era of their discography.

America's Got Talent is in its 21st season this year, still one of NBC's flagship programs and a consistent draw for mainstream US viewership. Landing a special guest slot there puts NCT 127 in front of an audience well outside the usual K-pop bubble, which is exactly the kind of crossover moment a comeback campaign is built around.

The AGT appearance fits into a larger US push that has been building for weeks. The group also performed at KCON LA, and between late July and early August they ran a large-scale outdoor advertising campaign across 13 cities worldwide, including New York and Los Angeles in the US, and nine cities across China. Seoul was the campaign's starting point. It is a level of promotional investment that signals SM Entertainment is treating this comeback as a major international rollout, not just a domestic one.

For NCT 127 fans, August 19 is the date to mark: a live broadcast performance on national US television, just days before BLINGY arrives.
