BLACKPINK Shuts Down the 2026 Met Gala Red Carpet as a Full Group

All four BLACKPINK members walked the 2026 Met Gala red carpet together on May 4, marking the group's first full appearance at the annual fashion event. While Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé each delivered sharp off-shoulder looks, it was Lisa's mannequin-arm veil construction that took the theme, Fashion is Art, to its most literal extreme.

All four BLACKPINK members hit the 2026 Met Gala on May 4 in New York, and Lisa arrived wearing mannequin arms.

That's not a metaphor. The actual look: a white sheer dress, a billowing veil held aloft by mannequin limbs attached to both shoulders. It was the most direct answer to this year's dress code, Fashion is Art, theme: Costume Art, and it landed accordingly.

The Met Gala, held every first Monday of May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is the fashion world's biggest charity night. BLACKPINK attending as a complete unit is notable on its own, the members have been running largely separate schedules since their DEADLINE mini-album comeback in February.

For Jisoo, this was her first Met Gala appearance. She went with a sequin-and-floral off-shoulder gown, backless, which drew plenty of attention on the carpet.

Jennie wore a blue off-shoulder dress with a scaled texture that read mermaid, sleek, body-conscious, unmistakably her.

Rosé opted for a black off-shoulder gown accented with a statement necklace and dark bird detailing, which gave the whole thing an editorial edge without trying too hard.

Then there was Lisa, who apparently decided that if the theme is art, the look should double as a sculpture. The mannequin-arm veil setup was the kind of thing that either gets called fashion-forward or unhinged depending on who you ask, the Met Gala crowd being the one room where those two reactions are mostly the same thing.

BLACKPINK's most recent group release, the mini-album DEADLINE, dropped in February.
