Brown Eyed Girls' Gain Shows Up for 2PM's 'THE RETURN' Concert, and the Photo Is Being Talked About

Brown Eyed Girls member Gain posted her first social media update in roughly 45 days on August 10, and she spent those days at a concert. The photo: all six members of 2PM flanking her at Incheon's Inspire Arena, Gain in the middle with a slight smile.

Gain attended 2PM's sold-out solo concert 2026 2PM Concert 'THE RETURN' in INCHEON, which ran August 8 and 9 at the Inspire Arena. The post went up without a caption, letting the image do the talking. Her previous social media update had been June 26, making this a 45-day gap that fans clocked immediately.

In the photo, Gain wore a black top under a white jacket with a cap pulled low. Several fans noted her look felt noticeably different from earlier appearances this year, though the mood in the room, surrounded by six of K-pop's second-generation veterans grinning at the camera, read as relaxed.

The second-generation connection runs deep here. Gain and the 2PM members all broke through in the late 2000s and early 2010s, and that cohort has always been known for maintaining tight bonds long after the peak years. Gain is 39 this year; 2PM are roughly the same generation. Showing up to cheer them on at a full-member reunion concert fits the pattern.

The backstory matters. Gain halted her career after being fined 1 million won in 2021 on propofol-related charges, spending several years largely out of the public eye. She began posting on social media again in May of this year, making each update a small data point in what looks like a careful, low-key reentry. A casual concert appearance with old industry friends is not a comeback announcement, but it is something.
