Han So-hee posted a set of photos to her social media on the 9th without a single word of caption, letting the images speak entirely for themselves. The most immediate change was her hair: the dark tones she has worn through much of her recent work were gone, replaced by a bright blonde cut with added bangs.

Fans, particularly international ones, connected the dots before any official statement could. Comments filled with "I know it's for Solo Leveling," "already in Cha Hae-in mode," and "our Cha Hae-in" appeared almost immediately under the post. Han So-hee had not tagged the production or named the character, yet the blonde hair alone was enough to prompt the association.

The response was not purely about the role. Korean fans also praised the transformation on its own terms, with comments along the lines of "blonde with bangs suits her so much" and "I love her in blonde" running alongside the character references.

The photos themselves carry the relaxed, unguarded quality that has become something of a signature in Han So-hee's personal posts. One close-up image shows the blonde hair alongside heavy eye makeup; another captures her sitting in a chair with her legs stretched out sideways toward opposite walls, an offhand pose that fits the overall mood. A third shows a sky-blue striped top, white bottoms, lace socks, and sneakers.

Han So-hee is set to play Cha Hae-in in Netflix's live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling, the massively popular Korean web novel and webtoon series. The story follows Sung Jin-woo, once considered the weakest hunter in a world where humans fight monsters through dimensional gates, as he acquires a unique system that allows him to level up without limit. Byeon Woo-seok has been cast as Sung Jin-woo, and Kang Yoo-seok joins the production as Yu Jin-ho.

As of now, Byeon Woo-seok's visual for Sung Jin-woo has not been released, which makes Han So-hee's photos the first glimpse, however unofficial, of either lead in a character-adjacent look. For Han So-hee, Solo Leveling will be her third Netflix original series following My Name and Gyeongseong Creature, a track record that reflects the platform's ongoing investment in her as a lead across genre projects.

Whether the blonde was a deliberate character preparation or simply a personal choice she happened to share, the effect was the same: the production's first public buzz arrived not from a studio announcement, but from a single unattributed set of photos and the fans who filled in the gap.
