Jang Wonyoung Is Heading to Milan and Her All-Red Airport Look Already Won

IVE's Jang Wonyoung posted a single photo to social media on the 25th with the caption "Off to Milan," and the image did most of the talking. Shot in front of a mirror before her departure, she wore an all-red look built from a crop tank top, a draped overlay piece resting off the shoulder, and a tight miniskirt that pulled the whole outfit into one clean, confident silhouette.

The styling leans further into a bolder direction than fans have typically seen from her airport looks. The layering of the draped top over the tank gives the outfit some structural interest without weighing it down, and the monochromatic red reads intentional rather than accidental. She's heading to Milan for a schedule of fashion and brand events, which makes the choice feel calibrated.

A packed stretch before the flight

The Milan trip comes at the end of a particularly busy run. On the 23rd, IVE appeared at the TIMA awards ceremony in Hong Kong, performing fan-favorite tracks including ELEVEN and I AM. The group has also been working through the North American leg of their second world tour, SHOW WHAT I AM, which added a significant stretch of dates across the continent.

A few days before the airport post, Wonyoung had also shared behind-the-scenes photos from a photoshoot, posing next to an oversized heart balloon in a V-neck sleeveless knit paired with a silver satin miniskirt. She kept the caption spare, letting the playful styling and her signature mix of doe-eyed charm and effortless poise carry the images on their own.

At this point in IVE's career, seeing Wonyoung move from a world tour stage to a Hong Kong awards show to a Milan fashion circuit within the span of a week feels less surprising than it does impressive.
