Jeon Ji-hyun arrived at the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2027 show at Paris's Trocadéro square in a black lace embroidered jacket with a gold brooch, layered over a fine sheer lace top, and paired with a matching sheer lace long skirt and stiletto heels. Long straight hair and a deep red lip finished the look. International press photographers stationed outside caught her in the frame of the Eiffel Tower, and the images circulated quickly.

The occasion was notable for a reason beyond the front row. Creative director Anthony Vaccarello staged this collection to mark ten years since his first show for the house, and he chose the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop for that landmark moment. The setting gave every outfit photographed that evening an extra layer of deliberateness.

Rosé and Jeon Ji-hyun

The meeting between Jeon Ji-hyun and BLACKPINK's Rosé, captured on video by Vogue Korea, was one of the more genuinely warm moments of the evening. Shot at the venue on the 29th (local time), it shows Rosé reaching for Jeon Ji-hyun's hand during their greeting and holding on for a beat longer than a standard industry introduction requires. Rosé's history with Saint Laurent goes back to 2019, when she attended her first show for the house. The following year she was named a global ambassador, and in 2021 she walked the Met Gala red carpet alongside Vaccarello himself.

Also attending the show was RIIZE's Anton, among other guests.

The outfit, read closely

What Jeon Ji-hyun wore is worth a second look. Head-to-toe sheer lace is one of those styling choices that reads as either maximalist or chaotic depending almost entirely on proportion and restraint elsewhere. The gold brooch on the jacket was the only hardware in the look; the red lip did the same work from the face up. The result was a single strong register held all the way through, which is harder to pull off than it looks.

Off the runway, Jeon Ji-hyun has been in the public eye this year for her lead role in the film Gunche, released in May, which has drawn more than 5.95 million admissions to date.
