Kwon Eunbi Wows 50,000 Fans in Istanbul, Then Announces First RBW Single 'DEJAVU'
Kwon Eunbi delivered one of her biggest international performances yet at Istanbul Festival on the 14th, playing a full set of hits plus a Dua Lipa cover for a crowd of roughly 50,000. Days later, her label RBW confirmed she will release a new digital single titled 'DEJAVU' on September 3, her first music in about a year and four months, and her debut release under the new label.

Kwon Eunbi is capping off her summer with back-to-back moments that are hard to top: a landmark festival stage in Turkey and a comeback announcement fans have been waiting on since early last year.

On the 14th (local time), Eunbi took the stage at Festival Park Yenikapi in Istanbul as part of the Istanbul Festival, one of Turkey's largest music events. She was joined by MONSTA X, Sunmi, and ATEEZ in what marked the first time K-pop artists had performed at the festival. Around 50,000 people packed the venue.

Her setlist covered a generous stretch of her solo catalog: "Door," "Hi," "Hello Stranger," "Unnatural," and "Underwater" all made the cut. The crowd moment that generated the most buzz, though, was her cover of Dua Lipa's "Levitating", a choice that read less like a safe fan-service pick and more like a genuine flex of her range as a live performer. It's the kind of addition to a setlist that signals an artist building for a broader audience.

On the 17th, Eunbi shared a batch of behind-the-scenes photos from the Istanbul trip on her social media. She wore a white lace halter-neck crop top paired with a vintage denim mini skirt, layered with a suede belt for a western-leaning mood, and completed the look with beige long boots.

The Istanbul appearance has also brought renewed attention to how Eunbi approaches her fitness. She has been open in the past about going through an extreme weight-loss period while preparing for a Waterbomb stage, dropping from her usual 47–48 kg down to 41–42 kg on a strict diet of mostly yogurt and quail eggs, something she later described on MBC's My Little Old Boy as having been too hard on herself. These days, she has spoken about a noticeably different approach. In a post she shared on June 10th alongside photos from a yoga session, she wrote that her mornings are now filled with things she enjoys, describing a routine of yoga, a glass of red wine vinegar, eating normally, and exercising without pressure. The contrast between then and now is something her fans have found genuinely refreshing.

Three days after the Istanbul photos went up, her label RBW dropped the bigger news: Kwon Eunbi will release a new digital single titled "DEJAVU" on September 3 at 6 p.m. KST across major streaming platforms. The announcement came alongside a logo motion video, a slow, airy clip set against a blue sky and drifting clouds, with the "DEJAVU" logo shifting as the light changes. The overall mood is clean and summery, a natural-feeling extension of where she has been aesthetically this season.
This is Eunbi's first release in roughly a year and four months, and her first under RBW, the label she joined after departing Woolim Entertainment. A new label often signals a recalibrated direction, and the title alone, déjà vu, does enough work to leave fans genuinely curious about what she is bringing this time.

Since going solo, Eunbi has built a clear identity as a festival-stage presence, earning the nickname "Summer Queen" through a string of high-energy outdoor performances across Korea. Her Istanbul set suggests that reputation is now traveling well beyond the peninsula.
