Inside the 285-pyeong pool villa where Lee Byung-hun and Lee Min-jung spent their family vacation

Actress Lee Min-jung posted a new video to her YouTube channel, 이민정 MJ, on the 25th, documenting a family staycation at what she described as the largest pool villa in Korea. The upload offered one of the more candid windows into her domestic life with actor Lee Byung-hun, a couple who tends to keep their family largely out of the public eye.

The villa suite clocks in at roughly 285 pyeong (about 940 square meters) and contains not one but two private swimming pools within the same room. Lee Min-jung walks viewers through the space from the entrance, where the scale already stops her mid-sentence, past high-end interior design and original artworks placed throughout. When the production crew remarked that she moved through the suite like an owner, she shot back, "I'd like to own it," drawing a laugh.

The main living room got its own segment. "It might be hard to fully convey how large this is," she told the camera, before walking to the far end of the room to demonstrate. At 166 centimeters tall, she looked notably small against the room's length, which turned the moment into a more effective size comparison than any number could.

A family trip in full

The villa's appeal for the family went beyond scale. Lee Min-jung noted that the property's children's facilities were particularly well thought out, and the video shows her and the kids renting an electric car in the courtyard to get around the grounds. It is the kind of detail that points to a newer segment of the Korean luxury hospitality market: high-end pool villas increasingly positioning themselves for family stays rather than couples alone.

The most-watched moment in the vlog came later in the evening. The family went for a late-night swim, and Lee Min-jung spent time playing in the water with her daughter Seo-i. Lee Byung-hun stood nearby watching, visibly smiling. For a couple whose public appearances together are relatively infrequent, the quiet, ordinary warmth of the scene was what carried the video.
