Seo Eun-soo joins Kim Woo-bin in new drama Gift, marking his return to tvN after five years

Seo Eun-soo will star alongside Kim Woo-bin in the upcoming tvN drama Gift, marking Woo-bin's significant return to the network after five years. Born in 1994, Seo is five years younger than Woo-bin and takes on the role of Yoon Seo-jin, a physical education teacher who will play a crucial part in the narrative.

Gift, directed by Kim Kyu-tae and Ham Seung-hoon, is adapted from the popular Kakao Webtoon by Jeong Yi-ri. The story revolves around Jeong Min-yong, played by Woo-bin, who is a former baseball pitcher coach that gains special abilities following an unfortunate accident. He takes on the role of head coach for a struggling high school baseball team, which is depicted as facing persistent challenges.

Seo, portraying Yoon Seo-jin, is described as a character with a strong sense of justice. Her motivations stem from her desire to create an enjoyable environment for the team's players. Although she frequently clashes with head coach Jeong, both characters are united by their shared goal of protecting the team. Seo's character showcases her resolve and commitment, bringing both a sense of determination and vibrant practicality to the role.

In her career thus far, Seo Eun-soo has built an impressive filmography, appearing in dramas like Missing: They Were There, Unlock My Boss, and films such as The Witch: Part 2 - The Other One and Kingmaker. She will also be seen in Made in Korea Season 2 as Oh Ye-jin, debuting on September 9. Her role in Gift is expected to reveal a new layer of her acting as she embodies the energetic and responsible traits of Yoon Seo-jin.

In addition to her busy schedule, Seo has confirmed participation in another upcoming film titled Rock. As she continues to showcase her versatility across both dramas and films, fans are particularly eager to see her dynamics with Kim Woo-bin in this fresh collaboration. The drama Gift is currently preparing for its debut in the second half of the year.
