Seol In-ah's Cropped Cut Stuns Fans Days Before My Guilty Man Premiere
Seol In-ah posted cropped-hair set photos for My Guilty Man, and fans swooned. Director Park Dan-hee also revealed she slipped on set, visited the ER, and finished shooting within the hour.

Seol In-ah slipped in a bathroom during the shoot for tvN's My Guilty Man, went straight to the emergency room, and was back on set within an hour to finish the day's filming. Director Park Dan-hee shared the story at the drama's online press conference on the 14th, adding that the injury turned out not to be serious.

Park used the moment to thank the cast. "That's how hard she worked on this project," the director said, adding that the team wanted to use the occasion to express gratitude to the actors. Park also praised Seol's action work, saying that on days she had an action scene, the crew trusted it would be an early wrap. All four leads (Im Si-wan, Seol In-ah, Kim Jung-hyun and Yeonwoo) have an action sequence, which the director said made things more nerve-racking.
Seol said she approached the physical demands with a specific goal. Because the drama has so much action, she needed to look like someone already well trained, so she focused on appearing skilled rather than on simply performing the action well.

The cropped cut fans can't stop talking about
Ahead of the Monday premiere, Seol posted a set of photos on Instagram with the caption, in effect, that the drama starts next Monday already. The images show off the short hair she wore for the role: a black suit with white shirt and tie while getting her brows touched up, a serious look at a screen with her bangs falling near her eyebrows, and a pose with both hands clasped like a gun, sunlight slanting through blinds. The last frame is more relaxed, with a black beanie, oversized headphones and a light gray zip-up.

Fans filled the comments with compliments such as "You're so handsome" and "I fell for your looks," and one cheekily asked her to date them. The genderless styling clearly landed.
At the press conference, Seol also spoke about the haircut itself. It felt unfamiliar at first, she said, but she saw it as a chance to discover a new side of herself. She admitted she felt low at times while preparing the male disguise, but chose to focus on the character's devotion to work rather than on the change in appearance.

What the drama is about
In My Guilty Man, Seol plays Kang Jae-hee, a detective from a special forces background who goes undercover as a personal assistant to Yoon I-jun, a third-generation chaebol heir played by Im Si-wan. Yoon is a murder suspect, and the series is framed as a close-quarters thriller romance built on the pair's relationship.
The tvN Monday-Tuesday drama premieres on the 19th.
