A single screenshot of aespa's Winter, one foot hooked behind the opposite calf, has drawn more than 1.6 million views on a Japanese social media post. The pose appears in a Vogue video the group released on the 15th, and it has overshadowed the interview itself.

The clip, titled "aespa Play Never Have I Ever," went up on Vogue's official YouTube channel. Karina, Giselle, Winter and NINGNING answered questions about their own experiences, including listening to their own songs on repeat and cringing at old interviews of themselves. The members were candid, but that isn't what viewers latched onto.

Winter crossed one leg over the other, then wrapped the raised foot around the back of her opposite calf. The result looks like she crossed her legs twice. One Japanese user shared a capture of the moment, joking that her legs were so long she seemed to have locked herself into a submission hold.

Long legs or flexibility?

The replies split over whether the pose came down to leg length or flexibility. Some users went further and tried the position themselves to see whether it was physically possible. Winter's listed height of about 164cm also came up in the discussion, which only added to the curiosity.

It's a small, unplanned moment, and it shows how a candid interview format can produce a bigger reaction than a staged performance clip.

Winter debuted with aespa in 2020 and has been part of hits including "Next Level," "Drama" and "Supernova." The group is currently on its "SYNK : COMPLæXITY" world tour, which spans 25 regions across North America, South America and Europe.
