KATSEYE's Gabriela crossed 1 billion Spotify streams as of the 16th (KST), 484 days after its June 20, 2025 release. It is the first song by the HYBE x Geffen Records group to reach that mark, according to Spotify.

The track was the lead single from the group's second EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS. It pairs Latin-flavored acoustic guitar with a polished pop sound, and the members' vocals come across as more mature and richly toned than before, which helped it find listeners well beyond the K-pop fanbase.

A video with a cameo and a 100 million target

The music video drew its own attention. It reworks the Latin American telenovela, the daily serialized TV drama, with a playful touch, and Hollywood actress Jessica Alba makes a surprise appearance. As of the 18th, the video has passed 97.32 million YouTube views, so the 100 million mark is within reach.

The chart record behind the streams

The streaming total follows a solid run on the charts. Gabriela peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 (chart dated January 17), which was KATSEYE's highest ranking at the time. It stayed on that chart for 28 weeks in total, and it also spent 26 weeks on Pop Airplay, where it reached No. 9.

A song that holds a Hot 100 spot for 28 weeks and keeps gathering streams well past its first year is showing staying power, not just a launch spike. The 100 million YouTube views look like a likely next milestone, probably within weeks at the current pace.
