AKMU's Lee Chan-hyuk Dances Hand in Hand With Ha Ji-soo After 3 Years of Silence
Lee Chan-hyuk and Ha Ji-soo swing danced hand in hand on MBC's Omniscient Interfering View. The old dating rumors, never confirmed or denied, are back.

AKMU's Lee Chan-hyuk was filmed holding hands with Ha Ji-soo, the model-actress he was reported to be dating, on the October 31 episode of MBC's Omniscient Interfering View. Neither of them has ever confirmed or denied that relationship.
The setting was a swing dance class, part of a "Sports Day" Lee organized for staff at his new independent label, Ingamui Saemteo ("Spring of Inspiration"). He described it as a welfare activity so employees could learn something and de-stress outside of work. AKMU's Lee Su-hyun came along, as did dancers and band members from the music video for "Love Lee."
Then came the surprise guest. Ha Ji-soo turned up, partners rotated, and she and Lee Chan-hyuk landed together. The cameras caught them smiling, holding hands, and at one point leaning to the side in sync with the steps. It was a normal part of the lesson. It was also, given the history, impossible to watch neutrally.
How the rumors started
The connection goes back to June 2023. Ha played Lee's lover in the music video for "Dance," one of two title tracks on his project album Umbrella. They ran hand in hand through a wide field and danced together, and viewers wondered at the time whether the chemistry was real.
In January 2025, Korean media reported that the two had grown close through that shoot and had been dating for over a year. YG Entertainment, Lee's agency then, and Ha's representatives gave near-identical answers: it's the artist's private life, so it's difficult to confirm. That is not a yes, and it is not a no.
The collaborations kept coming
The pattern did not stop. In April, Ha appeared again in the video for "Love Lee," the pre-release track from AKMU's 4th full-length album. Her agency confirmed her participation but said it was not a formal engagement through the agency. She took part in a personal capacity.
So the sequence now runs: music video, dating report, second music video, then a variety show appearance with hand-holding. Netizens are drawing the obvious line through it. The timing of a camera-ready "surprise" guest at a company event is a messy detail for anyone insisting this is purely professional.
Where both of them stand
Lee's exclusive contract with YG ended late last year, and he launched Ingamui Saemteo earlier this year. He still makes music with his sister as AKMU.
Ha, born in 1995, is a year older than Lee. She entered the industry in 2018 through Stella Jang's music video for "I GO," then appeared in short films including I Like Mint Chocolate and in ANDNEW's video for "Wendy." Her distinctive look and presence gradually built her profile, and this broadcast has pushed her name back into search bars.
