KATSEYE postponed their Detroit show 30 minutes before it was due to start, with merch lines open for hours and fans already being let into Little Caesars Arena. The group's Instagram and Weverse notice blamed member Megan's health, and no new date has been given.

The WILDWORLD tour stop was scheduled for 8 p.m. local time on the 3rd. The group's statement said Megan was unwell and could not perform that night, and that the team wanted to give her time to rest and recover. It also apologized to fans who had traveled, planned and waited for the show, saying the group was sorry to miss them.

The group, a HYBE and Geffen Records global girl group, has other tour cities fully booked and an Asia leg planned for next year. That includes its first solo Korean concert on February 4 at KSPO Dome in Seoul's Olympic Park. That leaves the Detroit makeup date unclear. Refunds are reportedly to be handled once new dates are confirmed.

The timing is what's stinging. Fans say Megan has been unwell since August and was on a break for an injury only days earlier. Some are now arguing the rest of the tour should be called off so the members aren't pushed so hard.

    They could have gone on without her, so a full cancellation makes me think the members are all burned out, or there's some internal problem. Also, isn't a cancellation 30 minutes out a huge loss for the agency? They have to refund every ticket and probably can't get the venue rental back either.

    Couldn't the other members have performed instead?? Thirty minutes before is wow, a total lack of responsibility lol. This is a clear precedent that forcing foreigners into the Korean K-pop system is bound to fail. They just said "whatever" and bailed.

    Wait, why 30 minutes before?

    Poor things, seeing the girls crying is heartbreaking.

    What a complete mess.

    It feels like the members aren't managed at all. This makes Manon's departure even easier to understand.

    The other members could have performed just fine, no? What is wrong with them;;

    It wasn't a day ahead, it was the very last minute. Even if the remaining members had gone on without rehearsing, people would have been more understanding.

    This isn't the first time Megan has been ill. She's struggled with her health for a while, and it's definitely not fake, since she's usually very hardworking. I just don't get how there was no "Plan B." I've followed KATSEYE since debut and really like them, but the management seems f*cking terrible.

    They could at least have come out to say hello. I heard they have a lot of young fans, and that's heartbreaking.

    The U.S. is so huge that going to a concert often means buying pricey domestic flights and booking hotels well in advance, so the costs are astronomical. How can they be so irresponsible as to cancel on the day? Is this even reasonable?
