Psy is a South Korean singer, songwriter and rapper who performs in K-pop, hip-hop and electronic dance music. He was born in Gangnam District, South Korea in 1977. Psy began his musical career in 2001. He has been managed by YG Entertainment throughout his recording career. Psy has received Silver Play Button, Gold Play Button and Diamond Play Button awards for his work.
