Hwasa Shows Unwavering Loyalty to Haha While Impressing with Sharp Wit on Running Man

On the April 12 broadcast of SBS variety show Running Man, MAMAMOO's Hwasa and Young Kay appeared as guests.

During the episode, the production team asked cast members, "How much would you be willing to spend on a meal for a specific Running Man member?" Yoo Jae-suk initially answered conservatively at 20,000 won per person, but when told that amount would be used as a mission budget, he quickly revised his answer to 50,000 won, drawing laughter from the panel.

Yang Se-chan said he could spend 1,000 won on Haha, while Haha reciprocated by offering 5,000 won for Yang Se-chan, enough for a bowl of ramen and some milk. Guest Young Kay generously stated 300,000 won, mentioning he had received many meals at Haha's meat restaurant. However, Hwasa stood out by declaring unlimited spending on Haha, then setting a specific budget of 1 million won when asked to put a number on it.

Hwasa explained, "He has taken care of me since before. I could spend unlimited on him." She added, "Oppa checks the charts every morning and reports to me, and he's really supportive." When Yoo Jae-suk joked that Hwasa's agency head Psy must be delighted with her success, Hwasa revealed that Psy actively monitors her chart performance. The panel humorously suggested that both Psy and JYP, her previous agency, would naturally be happy for their artists' success.

This marked Hwasa's first appearance on Running Man in eight years, having previously visited in 2018 with MAMAMOO. During the games, she showcased her entertaining personality with sharp ad-libs, earning praise from Yoo Jae-suk for her noticeably improved visuals and confident presence as a solo artist.
