ATEEZ spent years as K-pop's pirates. Now they're cowboys, and there are 88 card types to prove it.

The group is the new face of MIIMCA, billed as the first idol collectible card line. It is made by idol magazine MIIM with global trading card company TELECA. Sales opened on the 19th at 11 a.m. KST.

Two concepts, one gap in between

The release comes in two fan box versions. Version 1 is the fresh one: blue natural scenery, relaxed members, some animal encounters. Yeosang holds a Maltese plush. San shows off his back muscles. Version 2 is the swerve. The members dress as cowboys in western hats, leather jackets and sunglasses, and pose with horses for a western-film look.

The cards also cover unit pairings: Hongjoong and Seonghwa, San and Wooyoung, Yeosang and Jongho, Yunho and Mingi. A group shot carries the tagline "8 makes 1 team," the identity ATEEZ have pushed since debut.

What's in the box

Each version holds four card packs (five cards per pack) and four goods packs. Per version, the card list runs:

  • 8 autograph cards with member signatures

  • 8 inscription cards with handwriting

  • 16 SP cards

  • 24 rare cards

  • 32 base cards

The goods packs are random, and they differ by version. Version 1 includes a mini figure phone accessory, a credit card sticker, an umbrella charm keyring and an accordion sticker. Version 2 includes a finger band grip, a boot-shaped earphone accessory, an acrylic keyring and an ID photo.

Where to buy

The cards are sold at BREAK SHOP, CJ OnStyle and W Concept. Offline purchase is available at the TELECA Seongsu store (36 Yeonmujang-gil, 5th floor, Seongdong-gu, Seoul), from noon on the 19th. More information and release content will go up on the MIIMCA (@miimcard) and MIIM (@myidol_miim) Instagram accounts.

The pirate-to-cowboy pivot is a neat fit for a group whose stage identity has long leaned on costume. Whether random autograph pulls move fans as much as the hats remains to be seen.

End of story. The OMONAR Desk.
