Billlie's "WORK" reached #2 on Japan's iTunes Dance Top Songs chart, and on the 17th the group takes that vogue-driven track to the K-POP STAGE at the NOL Festival in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The show is at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2.

The festival is built around three stages: K-pop, Super Live and EDM. Billlie are on the K-pop bill alongside a lineup of top-tier acts, and the set is expected to mix their signature songs with tracks from their first full-length album, the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two, released in May.

What to watch for on stage

"WORK" is one of the album's two title tracks, and its polished vogue choreography is the obvious showpiece. Expect that to sit next to the group's more forceful, synchronized dance numbers, the kind of contrast that lets a festival crowd read the team's range quickly.

The larger frame is what fans call Billlie-core, a blend of Billlie and "core" that describes how the group ties music, choreography and concept into one identity. A festival slot, with a mixed audience that may not know the full discography, is a useful place to show that identity in a single set.

The numbers behind the set

The album's other title track, "ZAP," landed at #3 on the same Japanese iTunes Dance chart, so Billlie held the second and third spots at once. Listener numbers on Melon and Spotify also kept climbing after release.

Since then the group has widened its schedule with domestic festivals, university festival stages and several variety programs. Live vocals and original choreography have been the through-line at each stop, which is why this KINTEX appearance reads less like a one-off and more like the next step in a busy autumn.
