Jennie is releasing a new three-track EP titled 'Fallen Angel' on August 28, her label OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER) confirmed. The project follows a breakout year that saw her debut album 'Ruby' crack the Billboard 200 top 10 and her Tame Impala collaboration 'Dracula' spend 12 weeks in the Hot 100 top 10.

Jennie's 'Fallen Angel' era officially began on the 21st, when she dropped the album cover art and a trailer clip on social media to kick off her comeback promotional run. The trailer pairs a dreamlike narration with a snippet of the title track, and the atmospheric tone it sets feels like a deliberate pivot from the bolder, festival-ready energy of her recent live work.

The EP arrives on the 28th and carries three songs: the title track 'Fallen Angel', a new cut called 'HEAVEN', and 'Less than a Lover', the pre-release single that came out last month. Three tracks is a tight sequencing choice, but it keeps the narrative focused, which has been a recurring strength in how Jennie structures her solo releases.

The EP lands at a high point in her solo trajectory. Her debut album Ruby reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 earlier this year, with the title track 'Like Jennie' and several other songs from the record charting simultaneously on the Hot 100. That kind of album-wide chart performance is rare for any artist releasing outside a major U.S. label infrastructure.

Since Ruby, she has headlined seven major global festivals this year, including Governors Ball in the United States and Summer Sonic in Japan, cementing a live presence that goes well beyond what most solo K-pop acts have built internationally. Her collaboration with Australian rock band Tame Impala, 'Dracula', has been sitting in the Hot 100 top 10 for 12 consecutive weeks as of this report, and that crossover pull gives 'Fallen Angel' a wider runway than most EP releases would have.

With the album art, trailer, and release date all now public, fans can expect the full promotional schedule to fill in over the coming days ahead of the August 28 launch.
