Lee Min-jung and Kim Ji-seok Reveal Their Drama Kiss Scene Took 4 Hours
Actor Kim Ji-seok admitted he felt pangs of guilt after filming a long, passionate kiss scene with Lee Min-jung for their KBS Drama series OK Divorce. Lee Min-jung? Not a bit, and the lie detector agreed.

Actor Kim Ji-seok made a candid admission on the latest episode of Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel 이민정 MJ: their kiss scene for the KBS Drama series OK Divorce ran for four straight hours, left Lee Min-jung's face visibly red from his stubble, and sent him home feeling genuinely guilty about it. His co-star, by contrast, went home completely unbothered, a fact she confirmed with a flat "no," which the lie detector attached to her wrist then corroborated as truth.
The two actors appeared together in a video uploaded on the 15th, titled something along the lines of "Crisis Couple: Shopping Date with My Drama Husband Jiseok, Real Husband Series Part 1." The premise was simple: they went shopping, picked out clothes for each other, and in between answered questions about what filming OK Divorce has actually been like behind the scenes.

The kiss scene that surprised everyone
Kim Ji-seok kicked off the behind-the-scenes conversation by asking Lee Min-jung directly: did she feel any guilt after they filmed their kiss scene and went home? "No," she said without hesitation. The detector called it truthful.
Then Kim Ji-seok turned the question on himself. "I did," he admitted, which got a laugh from the room. He went on to explain why the shoot weighed on him: it was the longest and most intense kiss scene he had filmed in his entire career, and the session itself stretched to four hours. On top of that, his beard left her skin noticeably flushed by the end of it. "Her skin went completely red because of my stubble," he said.
A producer then asked whether they told their spouses in advance when a scene like that was coming up. Kim Ji-seok seemed to find the idea impractical. Lee Min-jung was more specific about why. She pointed out that she and her husband Lee Byung-hun have children at home, and the mental image of casually announcing "Hey, I'm off to film a kiss scene today" on the way out the door struck her as more awkward than helpful. She laughed through the explanation. Kim Ji-seok agreed it made no sense.
Stars who shop online like everyone else
The shopping portion of the video had its own small revelation. Before the two started picking out outfits for each other, Lee Min-jung noted that actually going out to buy things in Korea is a genuinely rare event for her. Kim Ji-seok said he just orders everything online. For actors at their level of recognition, a casual trip to a store is less a convenience than a small logistical production.
Their style preferences turned out to diverge pretty sharply. Kim Ji-seok said he gravitates toward athletic, sporty pieces. Lee Min-jung, picking clothes for him, said she wanted to dress him like an Italian man. She also reflected on the assumptions that can come with certain looks, that wearing something youthful might read as trying too hard, which she seemed to find a bit limiting.
The two confirmed they were both born in the same year, though they sorted out the exact birth-order math: Kim Ji-seok was born in 1981, while Lee Min-jung was born early in 1982 under the Korean bbareun saengil system, which places early-year births in the school year of the previous cohort. Close enough to trade the easy shorthand of being the same age.
OK Divorce is currently airing on KBS Drama and is also available to stream on Tving and Wavve.
