Kim Nahee Weds in 1,000-Guest Ceremony with Lee Chanwon and Song Gain by Her Side
Singer and comedian Kim Nahee married a non-celebrity IT businessman on the 30th at Crest72 in Jangchungdong, Seoul, in a ceremony attended by around 1,000 guests. Fellow trot singer Lee Chanwon served as emcee, while Song Gain, Kim Nahee's Miss Trot castmate, sang as a blessing for the couple.

Singer and comedian Kim Nahee married a non-celebrity IT businessman on the 30th at Crest72 in Jangchungdong, Seoul, a venue that hosted roughly 1,000 guests, including a wide circle of entertainment industry colleagues. The scale of the ceremony reflects something true of Kim Nahee's career: she occupies an unusual position in Korean entertainment, equally at home in comedy and trot music, and both worlds showed up to celebrate.

The emcee for the first part of the ceremony was trot singer Lee Chanwon. Song Gain, who shared the Miss Trot stage with Kim Nahee, sang the traditional Korean folk song Gasibusi Sarang as the wedding blessing. Kim Nahee had her own surprise in store: without telling the groom in advance, she performed Gummy's You Are My Everything live during the reception. The bouquet, thrown at the close of the ceremony, was caught by the mutual acquaintance who introduced the couple.
Also in attendance were actor Lee Hanwi, comedian Kim Jisun, and broadcaster Oh Jeongyeon, among other colleagues.

A courtship that moved fast
According to the couple, they began dating just ten days after being introduced through a mutual friend. In their first month together they met 27 out of 30 days. Kim Nahee has said the two are "happiest and most fun when they are together."

Kim Nahee had previously spoken about her fiancé on the TV Chosun program Joseon's Lovemakers, describing him as handsome and saying friends had compared him to actor Nam Joohyuk. The groom works in the IT sector.

In their wedding invitation, the couple wrote: "Two people who had been writing their own stories on different stages of life have now met. One conveyed the heart through laughter and song; the other opened the way through reason and sincerity. We now hope to write our story together on a single stage, beyond our separate ones."

Wedding coordinator Lee Eunkyeong of iWedding, who handled the ceremony preparations, described the groom as someone who genuinely matched the glowing things Kim Nahee had said about him: warm, meticulous, and good-natured. She added that helping the couple prepare had left her feeling like she had caught what she called a "happiness virus" from them.
