TVXQ's Max Changmin Lands His First Solo Korean Stage, Sells Out in 3 Rounds
Max Changmin's first-ever solo concert in Korea sold out across all three nights within days of tickets going on sale. The TVXQ member is also returning with his third mini-album in October.

All three nights of Max Changmin's first-ever Korean solo concert sold out before general ticketing had even closed, a clean sweep that reminded anyone who needed reminding just how durable his fanbase is.
Tickets for MAX CHANGMIN LIVE SESSION: RESONANCE in SEOUL went on sale across three separate rounds on the 18th, 21st, and 22nd via YES24. By the time the final general sale wrapped on the 22nd, every seat across all three shows was gone. The concerts run November 6 through 8 at the YES24 Live Hall in Seoul's Gwangjin district.
What the show is actually promising
The 'Live Session' title is doing deliberate work here. Rather than the full production spectacle fans associate with TVXQ's arena runs, Changmin has framed this as a vocal-forward, band-backed concert, the kind of setting where a singer's actual instrument gets to do the talking without pyrotechnics filling in the gaps. For a voice as controlled and emotionally precise as his, that's a genuinely interesting choice, and it's the sort of intimate format that tends to generate the most talked-about moments.
SM Entertainment confirmed the Seoul run is the opening leg of a broader live tour, with additional cities and dates to be announced through TVXQ's official social media channels.

October comeback first
Before the November shows, Changmin has a record to release. His third mini-album arrives in October, nearly five years after his second, Devil, came out in January 2022. The gap makes this one of the more anticipated solo comebacks in the TVXQ universe in some time, and with a live tour already sold out behind it, he's walking into the promotional cycle with considerable momentum.
Changmin has stayed visible in the years between releases. He appeared as a special guest on the 100th episode of MBC Every1's Hidden Eye on August 31, and his 'Choi Crew' running content alongside SHINee's Minho and EXO's Chanyeol has been a warm, low-key hit with fans tracking idol life outside of music. That breadth, variety instincts, genuine athletic credibility, and a voice that holds up under live conditions, is probably why the Seoul sellout landed so fast.
