Actor Seo Kang-jun has quietly moved from Seoul's Seongsu-dong to one of Samseong-dong's most private residential addresses, reportedly netting 2.41 billion won in capital gains along the way. The move places him inside Sangji Ritzville Kailum, a 13-unit building where Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin currently reside, along with Super Junior's Heechul and SEVENTEEN's The8.

According to reporting from the YouTube channel wander planet, Seo Kang-jun completed the move last summer after selling his Seongsu-dong unit at the Trimajem complex for 5.8 billion won. He added roughly 200 million won of his own funds and purchased the Samseong-dong property for 6 billion won total.

Seven years, three apartments

The Trimajem complex in Seongsu-dong was where Seo Kang-jun first lived independently, having moved out of his parents' home in 2017 when he purchased a 136-square-meter unit there for 1.647 billion won. Two years later he traded up within the same development, selling that unit for 2.9 billion won and buying a larger 140.3-square-meter unit with a better view of the Han River for 3.39 billion won. That second unit is the one he sold last June for 5.8 billion won, booking a gain of roughly 2.41 billion won on the purchase price over approximately five years.

The new address represents a significant shift in lifestyle as well as location. Sangji Ritzville Kailum, completed in 2012, places one household per floor across 13 levels. Units below the top floor are reportedly around 287 square meters, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. That kind of layout, combined with the building's small unit count, makes it a common choice for high-profile residents who prioritize privacy. Samseong-dong has long functioned as one of Seoul's celebrity enclaves; Song Hye-kyo, Kim Seung-woo, and Kim Nam-joo are among those said to live nearby, and the streets behind Gyeonggi High School are dense with high-end detached homes and villas.

For Seo Kang-jun, the move comes during an active stretch professionally. He recently completed filming on Undercover High School before selling the Seongsu-dong apartment and relocating. He is currently on screen in the Netflix drama My Dearest Nemesis alongside An Eun-jin, a series that has reached the Top 10 in 35 countries.
