Asked what she would do if her son grew up wanting to be an actor, she laughed off the question with characteristic warmth: looking the way he does, she said, it would be hard for him not to become one. The audience laughed. The clip moved fast.

The spousal disagreement she slipped in

She went further when asked who the boy takes after. "I think he looks like me," she said, before noting that she and her husband both quietly insist the child resembles themselves. It was a small domestic detail, and she delivered it in the light, throwaway register that variety shows invite, but it was also the first time she had said much of anything specific about family life at home with Hyun Bin.

It signals that she knew exactly how it would read, weighed it anyway, and then decided to flag the calculation rather than let it pass unaddressed.
