Tiffany Young's Busiest Year Yet: Album, Asia Tour, and Chicago on One Calendar
Tiffany Young is closing 2026 on a full sprint. Following her first solo studio album and an Asia tour, she co-hosted a competition show and is returning to musical theater as Roxie Hart in Chicago this December.

Tiffany Young's 2026 schedule reads like a career highlight reel compressed into twelve months. Fresh off her marriage to actor Byun Yo-han, the former Girls' Generation member has barely paused: a debut solo studio album, an Asia-wide concert tour, a competition show MC role, two musical productions, and a web variety appearance have all landed in the same calendar year.

Edge of Calm arrives
The foundation of the year was Edge of Calm, Tiffany Young's first full-length solo album, released in August. The record covers a range of genres, tracing the subtle emotional tension that sits just before stillness, and the public response was immediate and warm. Comments across Korean platforms called it "a masterpiece" and noted that "every track feels like it could be a title song." The praise wasn't hyperbole born of fan loyalty alone; critics pointed to the balance between polished pop sensibility and detailed vocal touches as the record's real strength. For a solo artist still building her catalog outside a group, that kind of word-of-mouth is its own kind of debut.
On the 12th, the Edge of Calm Tour opened in Hong Kong. Jakarta followed on the 19th, then Singapore on the 26th. From there, the tour moves through Taipei, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bangkok before closing in Seoul on December 27, a finale timed to land right at the end of the year.

From judge to MC
Tiffany Young had already made an impression on Korean competition television as a judge on Veiled Cup, a global vocal battle format. This time she moved to the other side of the mic. X THE LEAGUE, the ENA commerce competition series that wrapped on the 20th, had her co-hosting alongside BamBam from GOT7. The show pitted global sellers against each other in country-versus-country commerce battles, and by all accounts the pairing worked: Tiffany and BamBam kept chaotic product showcases and live results moving cleanly, while she made space for the contestants' personal stories in a way that gave the show some emotional grounding.

Two musicals, one year
The stage work this year stretched across two productions. From June 30 through August 23, Tiffany played Yumi, the lead in the musical adaptation of Yumi's Cells, drawing on the comic's signature warmth to depict a character navigating a full emotional spectrum of everyday life. Audiences responded to the performance's sincerity, and the run sold well.
In December, she returns to a role she already owns: Roxie Hart in Chicago. Tiffany first played Roxie in the 2021 season, earning recognition from both audiences and critics for her command of the character's ambition and energy. She returned for the 2024 season, and this third run will be her most anticipated yet. The expectation is that the additional stage time has only sharpened what was already a signature performance.

Between it all
In the gaps between major commitments, Tiffany also appeared on Hyo's Level Up, a web variety series hosted by Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon. The pair's easy rapport, two longtime bandmates finding new chemistry in a loose, playful format, was one of the year's quieter pleasures for longtime fans.
That ease carries through everything Tiffany Young has done in 2026. The year isn't quite over, but the Seoul tour finale in late December means she'll end it on a stage. That feels about right.
