First Solo OST, Two Languages: IVE's Rei Expands With Dive Into You
IVE's Rei has released Hello, the first OST from Disney+ and Channel A drama Dive Into You, marking her debut as a solo OST vocalist. The track drops in both Korean and Japanese versions simultaneously.

IVE's Rei has spent the past few years quietly building one of the more interesting creative portfolios in her group, co-writing several of IVE's tracks and releasing her first solo original, In Your Heart, on the group's second full album REVIVE+ earlier this year. On the 27th, she took another clear step forward: Hello, the first OST from the Disney+ and Channel A romance drama Dive Into You, landed on major streaming platforms at 6 p.m.
What makes the release particularly notable is that it drops in both Korean and Japanese versions at the same time, a choice that reflects Rei's natural fluency in both languages and opens the song to her substantial fanbase in Japan from day one.

What Hello sounds like
Hello is built around a quiet piano melody that gradually gives way to a fuller string arrangement, the kind of orchestral swell that earns its space in a drama about destined romance. The track was produced by music director Heo Sung-jin, who has a strong track record with drama soundtracks, alongside composer team Diori. Together they've written something that leans into longing rather than sadness, the mood is closer to wistful hope than heartbreak, which fits a story about reaching across time toward someone you can't quite hold onto.

Rei's vocal approach here is noticeably restrained in the best way. She has a clear, precise tone that sits naturally in the song's softer passages, and the arrangement gives her room to let the emotion do the work rather than pushing it.

Rei's growing solo footprint
The OST adds to a solo profile that has been expanding steadily. Last year Rei contributed to a tribute album marking Matsuda Seiko's 45th debut anniversary, covering Rock'n Rouge, a meaningful nod to her Japanese roots. In January she appeared as a featured artist on Monsta X Jooheon's pre-release single Push, from his second mini-album 光 (INSANITY).

Off the music side, she has hosted the ASEA awards ceremony two years running, in 2025 and again in May 2026, and recently took part in a KBS promotional campaign. Her solo YouTube series, 따라해볼레이 (Follow Along, Rei), covers topics ranging from fashion to lifestyle segments, and has given fans a consistent, low-key window into her personality outside of IVE's group activities.
Hello is available now on major streaming platforms.
