OMONAR

Ten years into her solo career, Tiffany Young is not coasting, she dropped 'Summer's Not Over' on May 8th across all major streaming platforms, and it's just the first move in a deliberately loaded anniversary run.

The track is a medium-tempo pop record built around warm synths and a breezy electronic pulse. Thematically, it centers on the feeling of being completely at home with the people you love, the way time seems to slow when you're with them and you quietly hope it never ends. It's a comfortable fit for Tiffany's voice, which the teaser clips already hinted at with a noticeably deeper register than her earlier solo work.

'Summer's Not Over' is a pre-album single, meaning Pacific Music Group Korea, the label Tiffany recently signed with as their first artist, is holding the full record for later in the year. The teaser campaign that preceded this drop leaned into a dreamy, slightly retro visual aesthetic: moody, soft-focus imagery that matched the wistful tone of the music.

The decade milestone is real. Tiffany Young launched her solo career in 2016, about nine years into her run as a member of Girls' Generation (SNSD), and has been building an independent discography in the years since. A ten-year solo marker is a meaningful number in any industry, and her team is clearly treating it as a proper anniversary event rather than just another single cycle.

Beyond the music, Tiffany steps into her most prominent theatrical role to date starting June 30, when she plays Yumi, the lead, in the musical adaptation of Yumi's Cells. The full studio album is also in the pipeline, which means the back half of 2025 is shaping up to be one of the busiest stretches of her solo run yet.

For SNSD fans who have followed her since the group's peak, this rollout reads like a statement. The timing is deliberate, the label move is recent, and the schedule leaves very little room for quiet.
