Hwasa is a K-pop singer, recording artist and singer-songwriter who plays voice, piano and guitar across K-pop, jazz and pop music. She was born in Jeonju, South Korea on July 23, 1995. Hwasa has been active since 2014 under the management of P Nation. She is a member of the group Mamamoo and also participated in the project group Refund Sisters. Hwasa is known for her work with Refund Sisters and her appearances on the television program I Live Alone, and she won a Mnet Asian Music Award for Best Dance Performance.
