EJAE Posts Maldives Honeymoon Photos, Four Swimsuits Deep, Weeks After Her Wedding

EJAE, the singer behind Golden from Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters, posted a set of Maldives honeymoon photos and videos on her social media with the caption "unforgettable Maldives honeymoon." She called the trip a "golden experience," borrowing the title of her own hit.

The post shows four distinct swimsuit looks against emerald water and a luxury resort. In one, she wears a bandeau bikini with large white flowers and a wrap skirt. In another, she wears a black swimsuit and a wide-brimmed straw hat while eating breakfast from a floating tray in the pool. A blue bikini appears in beach-walk shots, and she is also seen snorkeling in clear water and flashing a V sign at the camera.

Husband Samuel Kim, the composer and producer, appears in several images. The couple look at each other at the resort pool and aboard a yacht, and one photo shows her reeling in a very large fish. Between the romance and the activities, it reads as a honeymoon with little downtime.

A wedding with family history

EJAE and Samuel Kim married on the 17th of last month at Stage28 in Godeok-dong, Seoul. They first met through music work in 2017, which makes the wedding the end of a nine-year relationship.

The venue carries extra meaning. Stage28 is known to be a former residence of her maternal grandfather, veteran actor Shin Young-kyun.

The honeymoon photos are the first public look at the couple since the ceremony, and the "golden" caption suggests she is comfortable folding her biggest hit into her personal life. Expect more of that wordplay if she shares further trip photos.
