BLACKPINK's Jisoo Joins Bruno Mars' WME Months After Rosé's Agent Left for CAA
Jisoo has signed a worldwide representation deal with WME. Rosé signed there first, then her name moved to rival CAA after the agent who signed her switched sides in March.

BLACKPINK's Jisoo has signed a worldwide representation deal with U.S. agency WME, industry sources said on the 8th. The messy part: Rosé signed with the same agency last year, and her name has since turned up on the roster of rival CAA.
WME negotiates overseas performances, TV appearances and film roles for singers and actors. The deal does not mean Jisoo is leaving her current home. She continues her solo career through her own company, BLISSOO, and keeps her existing contract with Warner Records in the U.S. WME handles international work separately.
How Rosé's story diverged
WME announced on December 11 last year that it would represent Rosé's music activities worldwide. The announcement came from Lucy Dickins, the agency's head of music and live. She called Rosé "a creative artist with a voice that transcends borders and languages" and said it was an honor to support her solo career.
Then the person who made that pitch left. Dickins departed WME on March 6 this year, and CAA officially announced her hire on the 9th of that month. Rosé's name later appeared on CAA's list of signed artists.
The source does not say why Rosé moved or whether Dickins' exit was the cause. The sequence is public, though: agent leaves, artist follows. Fans will draw their own lines.
Who else is on the WME roster
Jisoo joins a heavy list. On the music side, WME is known for representing Bruno Mars, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Shakira and Benson Boone. Among Hollywood actors, Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Dwayne Johnson and Amy Adams are reported to be WME clients.
Two BLACKPINK members, then, now have two different American agencies in their corner. Whether that matters for the group itself is a question for another day.
