During the Goblin 10th anniversary special, Kim Sung-kyum made a surprise appearance that deeply moved his co-stars, leaving them in tears. His heartfelt message to the cast evoked nostalgia and joy.

On the 11th, during the Goblin 10th anniversary special titled Together, We Shine - Goblin, actor Kim Sung-kyum made a surprise appearance that left his co-stars visibly emotional. Known for his role as Chairman Yoo Shin-woo, Kim came on screen looking frailer than during the drama's filming days.
As he recreated a beloved quote from the show, he greeted the cast, saying, "My lord, it’s been ten years since we last met. I hope you all have been well. You will always hold a special place in my heart." This unexpected reunion turned the atmosphere tender, with tears flowing freely among the cast members.

Kim expressed his feelings, noting, "It feels like a long time has passed since Goblin aired, yet it also feels like just yesterday. Time has flown by, but the people remain unchanged. It’s incredible to celebrate this 10th anniversary, and I hope it will be cherished for another 20 or 30 years."
He further shared his fondness for his co-star Gong Yoo, reflecting on their friendship despite the years apart. "It’s as if we see each other every day, even though it has been a while. I really appreciate the bond we have. I love you, my lord," he added, which struck a chord with everyone present, intensifying the emotional moment.

Gong Yoo stood out in his reaction, expressing surprise at Kim's appearance and relief at seeing him healthy. He reminisced about their time on set and how easygoing Kim had always been, noting, "We had so much fun while acting together, and he was never authoritative." Gong also mentioned how he had to leave the production early due to health issues, which heightened the significance of the reunion.
Meanwhile, Kim Go-eun couldn’t hold back her tears, saying, "When he referred to us as 'my lord' again, it hit me hard, and I just lost it." The heartfelt reunion served not only as a trip down memory lane but also as a reminder of the strong bonds formed during the production of Goblin, making it a truly unforgettable moment for the cast and fans alike.
Kim Sung-kyum's appearance and touching words created a wave of nostalgia and joy, reflecting on the enduring legacy of Goblin even a decade after its original air date.
