Han Seo-hee said two words and the internet ran with it.

On the 2nd, she held an open Q&A session on her social media account. When a follower sent her the message "T.O.P and Nana are apparently dating," she replied with no context, no commentary, just: "Be happy~" That was it. That was the whole response. And yet here we are.

The reaction landed the same day T.O.P's representatives confirmed to media that the former BIGBANG member and actress Nana are in a relationship. The two first met in January during the filming of the music video for "Completely Crazy!", the double title track from T.O.P's debut solo studio album Multi-Perspective. They grew closer after that, and sources say the relationship turned romantic around June. Nana's agency, Sublime, confirmed the couple is "currently having a good time together."

Why Han Seo-hee's name came up

Han Seo-hee, born in 1995, first became known to the public through the MBC audition program Star Audition: The Great Birth 3, which aired in 2012 and 2013. What kept her name in the news afterward was messier. In 2016, she and T.O.P were both investigated for allegedly smoking marijuana at his home. T.O.P, who had enlisted as a social service officer in February 2017, was tried and received a suspended sentence of 10 months imprisonment with a 2-year probation in July 2017. Han Seo-hee received a suspended sentence of 3 years imprisonment with 4 years probation in connection with the same incident.

She didn't stop there. During her probation period, she was separately charged and convicted on additional drug offenses under Korea's Narcotics Control Act. She served six months and was released in November 2023.

So when T.O.P's new relationship surfaced, her name came back around too. The "be happy" reply, vague enough to read however you want, became a minor viral moment on its own. Whether it's gracious or pointed is, apparently, a matter of interpretation.
