BIGBANG's T.O.P and After School's Nana are dating, their respective agencies confirmed on October 2, a relationship that traces back to a single music video shoot earlier this year.

T.O.P's agency Topspot Pictures confirmed the couple met while filming the music video for '완전미쳤어!' (roughly: Totally Crazy!), the title track from his first solo full-length album, released in April. "They became close after the shoot and developed into a romantic relationship around June," the agency said. Nana's agency Sublime also confirmed the news, saying the two are "continuing a good relationship" after connecting through the same project.

The music video that brought them together

Nana appeared alongside T.O.P in the visually striking video for that title track, which drew attention for its bold color palette and cinematic quality. The two shared scenes that included dancing together, which, in hindsight, gives the whole thing a different kind of rewatch value for fans.

T.O.P, whose real name is Choi Seung-hyun, is 39 and debuted with BIGBANG in 2006. He built a dual career as both a performer and actor before going on hiatus after a cannabis conviction in 2017. He returned to the spotlight in December 2024 with a role in the Netflix series Squid Game 2, and the April solo album marked his full return to music.

Nana, 35, debuted in 2009 with girl group After School and its subunit Orange Caramel. She gradually shifted her focus to acting, landing her first major drama role in the 2016 tvN series Good Wife, and has been building her acting career steadily since.

For fans who followed both careers through their respective hiatuses and transitions, the news lands with a particular warmth, two people who found their way back to what they love, and apparently found each other along the way.
