A cafe operator in Seoul's Gangnam District posted video on the 2nd showing TOP and actor Nana browsing a birthday cafe that fans set up for him, just one month after the two confirmed they are dating. The former BIGBANG member, whose real name is Choi Seung-hyun, turns a year older on the 4th, and the space was decorated by fans for the occasion.

In the clip, TOP walks around the cafe in a black jumper and white mask, looking over the decorations and photos fans put together. He smiles as he takes it in. Nana follows beside him in a gray jacket, cap and mask, and at one point appears to pull out her phone to film him. The operator tagged both of their social media accounts when announcing the visit, and the video drew attention online fast, since it is the first time the couple has been seen together since going public.

How the relationship came out

TOP and Nana officially confirmed they were dating on October 2. They reportedly met while working on the music video for TOP's solo track "Crazy!" ("완전 미쳤어!") and grew closer, becoming a couple around June. After the news broke, Nana shared a shy message with fans while saying she intends to keep building a good relationship.

An apology to fans, one day earlier

The cafe visit also came right after a more somber moment. The fansite "Choi Seung-hyun.com" announced it was closing, citing communication problems among other reasons. On the 1st, TOP posted a message on social media thanking his longtime supporters and apologizing.

He mentioned the fans who encouraged him to start making music again during a difficult period, and apologized to the fansite staff and fans who were hurt because of him. Seen together, the two events show a fan community still part of his life even as his personal news takes center stage.
