iKON's Koo Jun-hoe Shaves His Head Before Military Enlistment: 'I'll Be Back'

Koo Jun-hoe is going in quietly. The iKON member posted a photo on Instagram on the 9th showing his freshly shaved head and a crisp military salute, captioning it simply: "I'll be back."

He enlists on the 11th with no public ceremony or fan event scheduled. That low-key approach tracks with how several of his iKON bandmates handled their own enlistments.

Born in 1997, Koo Jun-hoe debuted with iKON in 2015. The group broke through in a big way with their 2018 hit Love Scenario, and Koo has more recently expanded his career into acting, appearing in the dramas Bora! Deborah (2023), Marry You, and Judgment.

iKON currently operates as a six-member group: Koo Jun-hoe, Song Yun-hyung, Kim Jin-hwan, Kim Dong-hyuk, Bobby, and Jung Chan-woo. Of those, Kim Jin-hwan, Song Yun-hyung, Bobby, and Jung Chan-woo have already completed their service. Kim Dong-hyuk is currently active duty.

With Koo Jun-hoe enlisting now, iKON has essentially run the full lap on mandatory military service. The timing is what it is, no drama, just a salute and a caption.
