SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan and DINO checked into the Army recruit training center together on the 26th, and both are expected to serve as military band members once basic training ends. That makes two more members off the roster in one day.

Pledis Entertainment had already asked fans not to come. The agency said the induction ceremony is attended by many soldiers and their families, and it requested that fans refrain from visiting the site.

The group won't go quiet. Pledis said it will reach CARATs, the fandom name, through a stockpile of content prepared in advance. It also asked fans for "unchanging support" so the members can finish their service and return healthier.

Where the rest of SEVENTEEN stands

The military gap is already well underway. Wonwoo, Vernon and Mingyu are serving as social service agents. Hoshi, Woozi and DK are in the Army. Jeonghan was discharged in June.

That leaves a lineup split across barracks, public offices and, in Jeonghan's case, civilian life again. Pledis hasn't announced a group schedule, and for now the pre-recorded content is the plan.
