A welcomed return to Soldier Field

This concert marks BTS's return to Soldier Field since their historic solo show in May 2019, making it a highly anticipated event for fans who have been waiting over seven years to see the group perform in Chicago again. The local government intends for this concert to foster cultural exchange and boost the local economy.

Additionally, the recent trend of local governments extending similar welcomes to BTS continues to gain momentum. Toronto has dubbed the weekend of the concert as "BTS Weekend" and even temporarily renamed a street to "BTS Boulevard." In Maryland, Governor Wes Moore welcomed the members with a video complete with Korean subtitles prior to their performance.

In El Paso County, Texas, local officials declared the concert weekend as "El Paso BTS Weekend" and presented the members with the "Estimado Amigo" (Dearest Friend) award for their influence and community spirit.

International recognition

The global impact of BTS is further solidified by leaders across the globe. Recently, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum personally presented a commemorative plaque to the group, while French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife attended their concert at Stade de France.

As BTS gears up for their Chicago performance, the excitement continues to build, both locally and globally, with fans eager to celebrate both the music and their shared commitment to community engagement.
