BTS's Jin now has a billion-stream solo track to his name. 'Don't Say You Love Me,' the title track from his second mini-album Echo, crossed 1 billion plays on Spotify on August 18, making it the highest-streaming solo song of his career.

Released in May 2025, the pop track carries an understated emotional weight: a restrained sound and Jin's characteristically calm, clear-toned delivery built around the bittersweet tension of two people who can't quite let go. It's the kind of song that rewards repeat listening, and the numbers suggest that's exactly what fans have been doing.

The chart run that followed the release was already impressive. 'Don't Say You Love Me' debuted at No. 90 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Jin only the third time he had broken into the main U.S. singles chart as a solo artist, after 'The Astronaut' in 2022 and 'Running Wild' in 2024. On the global side, it reached No. 2 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global and No. 6 on the Billboard Global 200, with a No. 4 finish on Billboard Global Excl. U.S.

The album itself matched the single's momentum. Echo debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, the highest chart position Jin has achieved with a solo album to date.

Meanwhile, Jin and his BTS bandmates are currently on the road for Arirang, the group's new world tour, which Big Hit Music has described as their largest-scale tour yet. The next stops are Toronto's Rogers Stadium on August 22 and 23, where ARMY in Canada will get their turn.
