BTS's ARIRANG Tour Hits $433M and They're Only Getting Started

BTS pulled in $102.5 million from their ARIRANG world tour in July alone, landing them in exclusive company alongside Beyoncé and Bad Bunny as the only artists to surpass $100 million in a single month across multiple months. Their cumulative tour gross has now reached $433.2 million across 38 shows, more than doubling the group's previous all-time record. With the tour running through the first half of next year, those numbers are only going to climb.

BTS has joined Beyoncé and Bad Bunny in a club of three: artists who have cleared $100 million in a single calendar month from touring, and done it more than once. Billboard confirmed the milestone after the group's ARIRANG world tour grossed $102.5 million in July, putting them second on the publication's Top Tours chart for the month behind The Weeknd's $124.4 million.

What makes the July number particularly striking is the efficiency behind it. The Weeknd played 16 shows that month; BTS played 8. Half the dates, comparable revenue, a per-show average that Big Hit Music was quick to flag in a statement. At that rate, ARMY has effectively been filling the largest stadiums in the world twice as densely, in terms of gross, as most of their contemporaries.

A record-breaking European stretch

The bulk of July's haul came from the European leg of the tour. The Paris stop at Stade de France drew 185,000 fans across its run, generating $30.6 million in ticket revenue and landing at No. 3 on Billboard's Top Boxscore chart. It also set a new single-show attendance record for any BTS concert: 92,000 people for the July 17 finale night, the group's first French stage appearance in seven years. London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Munich's Allianz Arena, and Brussels' King Baudouin Stadium all placed between fifth and seventh on the same chart, meaning BTS occupied four of the top seven spots in a single monthly ranking.

The cumulative picture is even more emphatic. Through August 11, the ARIRANG tour had grossed $433.2 million across 38 shows and sold 2.3 million tickets, more than double the $213.9 million total from their LOVE YOURSELF tour, which had previously stood as the group's personal best. That's not a marginal improvement; it's a wholesale reset of what a BTS tour can generate.

Longevity on the charts, too

The run isn't confined to box-office tallies. The ARIRANG album has spent 23 consecutive weeks on the UK Official Albums Top 100, sitting at No. 92 for the chart dated August 28 through September 3. On Spotify's Weekly Top Albums Global (August 21–27), it ranked second and has stayed in the top three for five consecutive months. Lead single SWIM is currently No. 10 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global, marking 23 straight weeks inside the top 10, a level of sustained streaming presence that rarely accompanies an album this deep into its release cycle.

Big Hit Music noted that the ARIRANG tour is scheduled to continue through the first half of next year, meaning the current totals represent roughly the midpoint of a much longer run. The group's next dates are September 1–2 and September 5–6 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, and based on everything the first half of this tour has produced, the final gross is likely to land somewhere that makes the current record look modest.
