KATSEYE's Animal music video crossed 100 million YouTube views at around 2 a.m. KST on the 16th, just 54 days after its July 24 release. The group's previous fastest video to reach that milestone was the Gabriela performance video, which took 98 days. Animal beat it by 44 days.

Directed by Cody Crishell, the video frames the tension between reason and instinct through the visual language of a suspense thriller. Hollywood actress Demi Moore appears in a cameo that generated significant buzz at the time of release, drawing attention well beyond the group's existing fanbase. With Animal now in the 100 million club, KATSEYE has seven videos total at that threshold, including Touch and Gnarly.

Charting across the board

The momentum isn't limited to YouTube. On the September 19-dated Billboard Hot 100, Animal sits at No. 27 for its seventh consecutive week on the chart. The group is also placing two songs simultaneously: Hootie Frutti holds at No. 67, marking four straight weeks with both tracks in the Hot 100 at once.

The album picture is just as consistent. KATSEYE's third mini-album WILD lands at No. 16 on the Billboard 200, while their previous releases are still charting: BEAUTIFUL CHAOS at No. 150 and their debut album SIS at No. 187. All three records have held chart positions for four consecutive weeks, a quiet indicator of how steadily the group has built an audience.

On the road through Europe and North America

KATSEYE is currently on their first arena tour, THE WILDWORLD TOUR, routing through Europe before heading to North American dates. For a group that launched with a considerable amount of industry attention, these chart and streaming numbers suggest the fanbase is catching up to the hype in real time.
