Jennie's "Dracula," her collaboration with Australian psychedelic rock act Tame Impala, climbed four spots from No. 10 to No. 6 on Billboard's Hot 100 in the chart dated October 17, marking its 20th week in the Top 10. No other K-pop artist has spent that long in the Hot 100's Top 10, and the BLACKPINK member extends her own record every week the song stays there.

Billboard released the chart on the 13th (U.S. time). The song's peak remains No. 5.

Radio is carrying the rebound

The lift came from radio, long treated as the measure of mainstream American reach. "Dracula" logged 62.5 million listener impressions on the all-genre Radio Songs chart, holding No. 1 there for a fourth straight week. It also stayed on top of two genre charts: Hot Dance/Electronic Songs for the 40th week and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs for the 22nd.

Elsewhere on the Hot 100, KATSEYE's "Animal" slipped one place to No. 32.

Stray Kids' THIS AND THAT rose five spots to No. 29 in its ninth consecutive week on the albums chart. The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack from the Netflix animated film gained three places to No. 37, and KATSEYE's mini album WILD held at No. 39.

BTS's ARIRANG sat at No. 43 for a 29th week on the chart. ENHYPEN made the biggest move of the group, as THE SIN : BLISS jumped 39 spots to No. 122 in its seventh week. BOYNEXTDOOR's HOME re-entered at No. 177.

There was also a debut from CJ ENM's Japanese label LAPONE Entertainment. JO1, a nine-member group formed through a Japanese audition program, entered at No. 139 with its new mini album ANIMAL, its first appearance on the Billboard 200.

Taylor Swift's milestones

Outside K-pop, Taylor Swift set records on both main charts. Her new song "Patient Zero" held No. 1 on the Hot 100 for a second week, giving her a 10th song with two or more weeks at the top. That places her fourth all-time behind Mariah Carey (17), the Beatles (15) and Rihanna (10). Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" stayed at No. 2, and Drake and Don Toliver's "Solar Eclipse" debuted at No. 5, giving Drake a record 91st Top 10 entry.

On the Billboard 200, Swift's The Life of a Showgirl returned to No. 1 with 93,000 units, her 14th chart-topper. It made her the first solo artist with 100 total weeks at No. 1, second overall to the Beatles' 132. Drake's HABIBTI ranked second, and the Beatles' Rubber Soul deluxe edition re-entered at No. 4, putting the three acts with the most No. 1 albums in the Top 5 together.
