From LA to Newark: LE SSERAFIM's PUREFLOW Tour City Spelling Tradition Wins Over Fans

LE SSERAFIM have found a way to make fans look forward to the backstage photos as much as the setlist. At each stop of their 2026 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'PUREFLOW' IN UNITED STATES, the five members, Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae, have been forming the city's abbreviation with their bodies: arms, legs, full-body contortions, whatever it takes to get the letters right.

The series started when the tour opened in Los Angeles on September 16, and the photos have kept coming through Tacoma (TCM), San Jose (S'J), Phoenix (PHX), and Fort Worth (FTW). Each city produces a different arrangement and a different highlight. The Phoenix shot is the one fans keep sharing: Kazuha lifted her leg high to form the 'P' in 'PHX', her ballet training making the move look easy in a way that stopped people mid-scroll. Comments online ranged from "the flexibility is actually insane" to "she carried the whole alphabet", which, to be fair, is not entirely wrong.

Beyond the photos

The city references don't stop at the memento shots. In Orlando, the group came out for the encore in princess dresses, nodding to the city's Disney World identity. In Chicago, they wore costumes styled after deep-dish pizza, a choice that landed exactly as intended with a local crowd that takes its pizza seriously. It's the kind of small, specific effort that reads as genuine rather than planned, even when it clearly was.

LE SSERAFIM wraps the US leg of PUREFLOW at the Prudential Center in Newark on the 8th. The tour then moves to Europe, with the first-ever LE SSERAFIM European show set for October 16 at The O2 in London.
