NCT DREAM Take a Camper-Van Trip in 'The Sun' MV Before Nov. 9 Album

NCT DREAM released the music video for "The Sun" at midnight on the 20th, putting all six members in a camper van and sending them across open fields toward a red-sunset coastline. The track is the first on their sixth full-length album, DREAM AFTER DREAM, and it arrives ahead of the title track "Boogie Woogie".

The video premiered on the SMTOWN YouTube channel and other platforms. It follows the members as they laugh, joke around and collect small memories together, and the warmth of their long friendship carries most of the film. Wide meadows and a sea lit by sunset give it a nostalgic, youthful feel, and the cinematic build of the song gives those images a slightly wistful weight.

A ballad that looks back

"The Sun" is a pop ballad built on emotive synthesizers and electric guitar. Its words reflect on the ten years NCT DREAM have spent together, with a belief that they got through countless moments because they had each other. It also carries a promise to keep heading toward the same dream, like a sun rising after a dark night.

That framing is the point of the video. By tying the past decade to the dreams still ahead, it signals the direction of the full album, and releasing a track like this before the title song builds anticipation by showing the album's mood and message first. The road-trip setting suits it: a journey with no rush, just six people and the scenery.
