NCT Wish's fourth mini album, I Spy, sold 1,200,086 copies in its first day, according to Hanteo Chart figures cited by SM Entertainment. That makes it the group's fourth consecutive million-seller.

The EP came out on the 12th, and the streak runs back to the second EP Poppop in April last year. Color and the full-length debut Ode to Love followed, each crossing the million mark, so I Spy extends a run that has now covered every major release since the group's first million-seller.

Charts at home and across Asia

The numbers weren't limited to physical sales. I Spy took the daily No. 1 spot on Hanteo Chart, Yes24 and Circle Chart, and all six tracks, including the title track of the same name, entered Melon's Top 100 and Hot 100 as well as Bugs. Abroad, the album topped China's QQ Music digital album sales chart and earned a Gold Album certification there. It also reached No. 1 on Japan's AWA real-time rising chart.

For a group that is the youngest subunit of NCT, that spread across Korea, China and Japan on release day suggests the audience is not confined to one market.

A first Gocheok Sky Dome stand

The next milestone is on the calendar. NCT Wish begins its second concert tour, "Into the Wish: Face Our Wish," in Seoul on Jan. 15. Both nights in the city will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome, one of the largest concert venues in Korea, and it will be the group's first time playing there, less than three years after debut.

With four million-sellers already behind them, that jump in venue size looks like a natural next step rather than a leap.
