NOB Entertainment terminated its creator contract with influencer Nit Mol Cash (real name Cha Cheong-il) on the 29th and is also removing him from his board director role. The moves came within hours of a former girlfriend publicly alleging dating violence and releasing audio recordings.
Korean influencer Nitmollcash (real name Cha Cheong-il) has acknowledged a former partner's dating violence allegations, with his agency NOB Entertainment confirming on the 29th that "most" of the claims are accurate. The admission follows a pattern that has become increasingly visible in Korean creator culture: a public-facing persona that diverges sharply from private conduct, brought to light when a former partner turns to social media after failing to receive an apology.
NOB Entertainment told Sports Seoul that Nitmollcash "admitted it himself" and that the agency's own verification of the account found the former partner's allegations to be "mostly true." A formal statement is being prepared. The agency also noted that the matter falls within private life and is unrelated to any of his colleagues.
What the former partner alleged
On the 28th, a woman identified only as A posted an account on social media detailing what she described as verbal and physical abuse during their relationship. She wrote that she felt a stark gap between Nitmollcash's public image and the person she experienced privately. Alongside her written account, she posted an audio recording she said captured a confrontation on May 29.
The recording, as described in reporting, includes a male voice directing profanity and abusive language at her, as well as sounds consistent with objects being struck or thrown. She further alleged that he directed verbal abuse at a taxi driver while intoxicated, damaged property inside her home, and made demeaning comments about fellow creators and working professionals.
A explained her delay in coming forward by saying the relationship ended badly and that she had wanted a sincere apology, which never came.
Accounts deleted, statement pending
Following the spread of the allegations, Nitmollcash's TikTok and Instagram accounts were deleted. His YouTube presence had previously been his primary platform, and he was also known for the song Jaljayo Agassi, recorded with fellow creator Danaka (Kim Gyeong-uk).
He appeared on the Netflix reality program The Influencer, which brought him wider recognition beyond his core social media following. Whether his agency's forthcoming statement will address specific points in the former partner's account, or speak in broader terms, remains to be seen. The confirmation that the claims are "mostly true" stops short of specifying which allegations fall outside that scope.
