NMIXX to Make Japan Debut with 12-Track 'N=MIXX' Album After Billboard Top 5 Showing

NMIXX will officially debut in Japan on December 9 with the release of their best album N=MIXX, announced JYP Entertainment on July 31. The 12-track release includes Japanese-language versions of the group's existing catalog alongside Blue Valentine, one of their signature Korean hits.

Before the album lands, NMIXX will play a standalone concert at Keio Arena Tokyo on August 8 and 9, giving Japanese fans an early live introduction as part of the group's first world tour, EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER. The Tokyo dates follow concerts the group wrapped in Hong Kong on July 25 and 26, suggesting a deliberate regional build ahead of the formal debut.

The timing looks well-calibrated. NMIXX has been gaining real traction in global markets: their fifth mini-album Heavy Serenade, released in May, ranked third on Billboard's Best K-pop Albums of the First Half of 2026, while the track Crescendo placed fifth on Best K-pop Songs of the First Half of 2026. Those are the kinds of chart positions that justify a full-scale Japan rollout rather than a quiet test release.

A best album is a common entry format for K-pop acts debuting in Japan, letting new listeners catch up on a group's run while the label gauges physical sales and streaming traction in the market. With Keio Arena already booked and a Billboard-backed momentum story in hand, NMIXX's December 9 debut date is worth circling: the early returns from Tokyo in August will likely set the tone for how aggressively JYP moves in Japan from there.
