30 Years After Her Debut, Park Eun-bin Puts Her Own Words to Music

Park Eun-bin is ringing in her 30th year in the industry with something genuinely personal: a 12-track anniversary album called Shooting My Love, set to release on September 4, which also happens to be her birthday. Her agency Namoo Actors announced the project on August 12, and pre-orders open across major digital platforms on August 14.

What makes the album more than a milestone package is that Park Eun-bin wrote the lyrics herself, for the first time in her career. All three new songs on the record, "Dreams Come True," "The Sun Rises" (태양은 떠올라), and "Prism," carry her words, which her agency describes as drawing from her gratitude toward fans and her own experiences navigating three decades as an actress. For someone who built her reputation entirely through performance on screen, stepping into the role of songwriter is a meaningful shift.

The album doesn't only look forward. A band arrangement of "Someday," the song Park Eun-bin performed in the 2023 tvN drama Diva of the Deserted Island, is included alongside the three new tracks and previously released material, bringing the total to 12 songs. The Diva role was a career-defining moment for her, and revisiting "Someday" in a new arrangement gives longtime fans a reason to return to that chapter.

The live debut of the new songs will come the day after the album drops. Park Eun-bin is scheduled to perform them for the first time at a fan concert on September 5, which means fans will have less than 24 hours with the recordings before she takes the stage. That staging choice feels very intentional for an album that's fundamentally about the relationship between an artist and the people who've followed her work.
