USPEER's Japan Debut Was Just the Start: Taiwan Fan Meeting Is Next

USPEER's first trip to Japan turned out to be a proper introduction. The group spent August 7–10 in Tokyo running a full slate of promotions: fan sign sessions, a mini live set, and a hi-touch event that gave local fans their first up-close look at one of K-pop's rising new acts.

The mini live was the centerpiece of the run. USPEER performed their debut track ZOOM alongside three songs from their June mini album BITE DISTRICT, including title track WICKED GAME and album cuts So Fine and Bestie. They also threw in a cover of Oh My Girl's Sal짝 설렜어 ("A Little Bit"), a crowd-pleasing choice that showed the group can hold their own on someone else's song as easily as their own.

The August 9 Tower Records visit drew what the group's label MW Entertainment described as a large gathering of local fans, a notable sign for a group still in the early stages of their international push.

In a statement released through the agency, the members said the experience felt "like a dream" and that meeting fans in Japan was "a time we won't forget," adding they would work hard to return soon.

The Tokyo trip comes on the back of a strong domestic run for BITE DISTRICT, which broke the group's own first-week sales record and reached No. 1 on album charts upon release. That kind of momentum tends to open doors, and USPEER are moving quickly to walk through them.

Next up is Taiwan: on August 23, the group will hold their first overseas fan meeting, 2026 USPEER Fan Meeting 'My Buddy' in Taipei, marking another step in what is shaping up to be an active international year for the group.
