All 18 JYP Artists - Including TWICE and Stray Kids - Can Now Vote at the Grammys

Park Jin Young, every member of TWICE, and every member of Stray Kids have been granted voting membership in the Recording Academy, the organization that administers the Grammy Awards, bringing the total of newly admitted JYP Entertainment artists to 18. The development is part of a gradual broadening of the Recording Academy's membership that has, over the past several years, drawn in more artists working outside the American market.

JYP Entertainment confirmed the memberships on July 14. Voting membership is open to music creators, artists, songwriters, producers, and engineers, and carries the right to participate in both the nomination and final voting rounds for Grammy Awards. It is the most direct form of institutional access the Recording Academy extends.

Two executives from JYP were also admitted, though under a different category. CEO Jung Wook and CSO Shin Hyun-kuk, who also serves as CEO of JYP America, were named Professional members, a designation for music business professionals who support creators. Professional members can participate in the submission process but do not hold Grammy voting rights.

The distinction matters: voting membership places artists inside the body that decides who wins, while professional membership is more procedural. For a label with significant U.S. ambitions, having both tiers represented gives JYP a more complete foothold in how the awards machinery operates.

The 69th Grammy Awards are scheduled for February 7, 2027, in Los Angeles.
